I think my wife sees these assholes whereing shorts, tank-top, and flip-flops, so she thinks I can get by without a new cooler jacket for the hotter months...dam squid riders...nah, she knows the importance. It's that I have 2 jackets already, but I gotta have that Alpinestars Sniper air Flo in white. It's a badass jacket. It's Astars to begin with. but it's designed perfect for summer. It has some mesh breathable panels where you wouldn't make contact, and 600 Denier poly on the possible contact areas. I dig it. I want. I've gotta have it.

The ultimate squid rider works at my company. He just got a busa He where's a fully mesh Joe Rocket jacket cause it looks cool, with no helmet...priorities are a little messed up,lol...a jacket, but no helmet

We need to start a [how many squids did you see today] thread. Whoever wins should get a $25 kneedraggers gift card or something. We'd have to have proof though. Like a picture, or something. Run it month to month. All that participate could just throw in $5 towards the gift card.
There could even be a points system. More points for a more squidded out rider. Like this guy at work wouldn't have gotten that many because he was in long pants and jacket. Just no gloves or helmet. Helmet being most points though. But the squids in the total squid attire,i.e. shorst, tank-top/t-shirt, flops, and shades...the ultimate cool guy. "look at me, I got a 200mph bike. I want everyone to see it's me. That's probably why the guy at work wears no helmet. He wants everyont to know it's him on that shiny new busa,lol.

Tweeti would say squids are necessarily the ones with no gear on squids usually just don't have much riding skill about all the can do it pull up wheelies and ride straight and slow. BUt usually these people also don't wear gear because people that know how to ride well no the importance of gear. On another not i just got me a new joe rocket textile jacket with full kevlar padding it's pretty sweet and breaths pretty well at speed and matches my bike and helmet great.

yeah, you don't have to wear a helmet down here in nice sunny warm Florida. So you'd be in heaven. Hopefully not literally...right along side the woman that spearpointed the campaign to abolish the helmet law here several years ago...I guess close to 7-8yrs ago. 2 weeks after the helmet law was gone, so was she...cause of death- head trauma. Over 90% of motorcycle fatalities are the result of head trauma...no helmet.

and listen, I'm a firm believer that if it's your day, it's your day. I fear drooling the rest of my life because it wasn't my day.

To each his own, but I will mention the importance of gear to folks. A helmet at least! Especially people I know personally and care for.

glad you got your jacket! I'm scoping this Aplinestars Sniper Air Flo. It has breathable mesh where you wouldn't make contact, etc...and I just really dig it. It comes in white too...cooler.

Yeah, it's gone here, and it'll never come back. Way too many Harley riders and folks that love the no helmet law. And like I said, to each his own. It's your choice. If that is though, a dam seatbelt should be...which I wear my seatbelt now-days too since I have children that need a functional dad, know what I mean?
