TweetA friend of mine does it. He's got the big set up in his shop behind his house. His father in law, my cousin, owns a restaurant, so he uses oil from there, and mixes it with whatever that chemical you use...He said it comes out to like $1.24 per gallon or something in that area. He has the exact figure, I just can't remember. I don't think he gets to do that primarily. He still has to gas up from the store allot of the time. He said it runs the same. He's even running a programmer with it. He has a 2005 Chevy Dually.
TweetWe looked at making bio-diesel for our company. The biggest and hardest part was securing enough oil from different resturants. Seems they are under cintract to sell the used ol to larger waste companies. The ones we did find wanted to know how much we were going to pay them.
In NC, you have to list the amount of bio-diesel you are making and using so the state can acess the "proper" amout of tax on to each gallon.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!
