Supportive Gear and their respective Federations

IPA, IPAA & APF, AAPF Bench shirts are allowed in multiply ply canvas, poly, denim, as many ply as you want as long as it is one item of supportive gear.

Squat suits are also allowed in multiply ply canvas, poly, denim, as many ply as you want as long as the suit is one item, briefs with the full legs are also allowed under the suit in as many ply as you would like in canvas, poly, denim or a combination, as long as it is one item.

Deadlift suits are allowed in multiple unlimited ply canvas, denim, poly, or a combination as long as it is one item.
Max Knee wraps 2.5 M, wrist 1M

AAPF, and IPAA are drug tested divisions of these federations, or otherwise known as "amateur" divisions.

WPO Rules are the same as the APF and IPA except you are limited to two ply.

USAPL Squat suits are limited to one ply with no briefs of any kind underneath.
Bench shirts are limited to single ply poly, closed back, closed neck.

Deadlifts suits are limited to single ply poly, please check with the suit manufacturer to make sure the single ply suit is legal, i know the metal pro suit is a single ply poly that is illegal in the IPF, thus making it illegal in the USAPL. Max 1 M wrist wraps and 2 M knee wraps allowed
NOTE USAPL does not give a press command on the bench, it is up to the lifter to pause the appropriate amount of time, they also require the heels on the floor while benching. Squats must be walked out.

USPF Single ply poly or denim bench shirts allowed, neck must be closed but back can be open as long as it is fastened with velcro which may not wrap around the body. Squat suits are single ply poly or denim, and singleply legless briefs may be worn. 1 M wrist wraps, and 2.5 M knee wraps allowed. Squats must be walked out.

APA 2 ply bench shirts allowed, denim and poly only, no combination of the two.
Squat suits are allowed in two ply poly only, legless briefs are the only briefs allowed (not sure as of ply) No canvas material at all in the APA. Max Knee wraps of 3.5 M, and wrist wraps of 1 M.
