Here's video of Iceland's Benni Magnusson, shw, tire deadlifting 1,100 pounds at the Arnold Strongman event this weekend. Magnusson has indicated that he will return to the powerlifting platform in 2008 to attempt to take Andy Bolton's deadlift record of 1,003 pounds.
