It has got to be hurting the real estate market there. Lake Martin was almost as expensive as beachfront! My bookkeeper was going to vacation this August at Lake Martin and changed to Lake Jordan because of the water level. Our water levels on the coast are fine.

We have a lake house less than 5 min from where those boat ramps are down so bad at Kawliga Marina. We can usually hear the bands play at night from our boat dock. I hope we get some rain bad so we can get out of this drought shiot.

The Tenn. River is north AL is doing OK, the local creek is going dry. Some of my buddies fish and they went to TN to fish. Got back from Las Vegas two weeks ago. Visited Lake Meade, the low water level was an eye opener. Lots of places are hurtin. Pray for rain. The local farmers have taken a beatin.

I remember when we were on well growing up. By time I got to high school we had to run around in the shower to get wet. Then they ran city into the area and it was all good. Well water on the Gulf coast is rough anyway because it is so sulfary. It ain't like city is good though. I have family in B-ham, AL. The tap water up there is so good.

Kite... I didn't realize you were from Atlanta area. We're neighbors... I'm living in north GA now. I'm about to move to TN... they have water

They are saying we've got about 60 days of water left, and it doesn't look like we're going to get any rain anytime soon.
