TweetOMG...you betta take some Dramamine or ginger cuz its prob gonna be choppy with all this bad weather we're having.
good luck...we caught a couple of sharks when we went out a week or so ago. (not 80 miles out tho)
TweetMe and a few guys from work are leaving at noon today to go fishing with a buddy of ours who has a charter service out of Orange Beach. We are going on a 24 hour overnight Tuna trip 80 to 120 miles off the coast. Got the coolers full of beer and he's got a grille on the back of the boat to cook the fish as soon as we catch it.
I'll put some pics up as soon as I get back.

TweetHow did you do? I live about 45 minutes from there. Lot of rain today!
TweetGot to the docks at 2:30 Sat. Morning and there was a small boat advisory out for the gulf. Weather buoy at 65 miles had the seas at 8 feet with 15 to 20 knt winds. We decided to go out anyway and ended up getting back to the docks at 11:45 sat. night. Caught a bunch of fish. All in all we caught yellow fin tuna, amberjack, scamp grouper, gag grouper, wahoo, king, bonita, triggerfish, snapper, beeliner, 3 sharks (1 of which was 385lb hammerhead) If you look in the picture of all the fish on the dock there is a head of a 60 lb amberjack that was bit off by the shark in one bite right before we got him on the boat.
The pictures of the sun coming up sat. morning were taken at about 65 miles, but most of the big fish were caught btwn 75 and 85 miles out.
TweetWe are going back at the beg. of next year for a week of fishing during the Gulf of Mexico deep sea fishing rodeo tournament. My buddy's boat has placed in the top 5 the last 6 years and we are hoping to win it this next year. Usually there are about 300 boats that enter every year.
Here are the rest of the pics.
TweetCool pics man! I haven't been out in forever, that makes me wanna skip outa here and go right now!
Tweetlooks like you have a lot of fun I love fishing but I get sea sick everytime I go out for at least a day and then I am good.
