Just watched it, had tears in my eyes! Felt like a 10yo again, super movie

but something annoys me, the products placement.

and especially all Autobots were GM cars,

      decepticon: ford and military vehicules

if you look closely, you dont SEE NO GM products getting smashed or destroyed, you see toyota, ford, chrysler, lot of benz getting destroyed but no gm, you see lot of cadillac protecting their precious human with no stratch.

ok we see an escallade turning bad, but with three *****es with an attitude like GM were sending a message, these chicks are bad for the reputation of the truck

      lol

Agreed loved it. Watch it in high def and you will really enjoy it! Product placement, yes it is annoying, it is getting more and more blatant. I was watching heroes and every car is a Nissan, Smallville toyota.......remember when Austin Powers made fun of that, yet the companies think we are all such pawns that we are somehow suggested to buy their products. Too funny.

Bad ass movie! The advertising psychologists did a great job. I felt like buying a new Chevy Camero after seeing Transformers. Just how like Matrix Reloaded made me want a Ducati 999 very bad. The urge fades in a coupe days though! :-)

      Post Re: transformers

I saw the movie last week at a theatre. The only thing missing was the cassette tape in the boom box. I remember them having one in the cartoon.

What was scary was the movie brought back memories. At the time I met my ex-wife, she was driving a 1978 Chevy Camaro that looked exactly like the one in the movie. Same color except hers wasn't a rust bucket.

Me and the wife rented it this last weekend. We really enjoyed it. I said the same thing about GM plugging the new Camaro. It was sharp. The action in the movies now-a-days is just badass. Notice when they are fighting, just throwing down, the music stops. You can just hear the rounds going off, shells exploding and the other sounds of the action. They don't need music to make the fight scenes more dramatic. They did that in the latest King Kong too. When Kong was battleing the T-Rexes. It's killer.
      But Transformers was enjoyable.

I have always been a transformer fan!! Seeing that movie brought back lots of memories. A buddy of mine has about a $50,000 transformer collection. He has all of them from back in the day and they are in mint condition.

oh at the blasphemy. 02...how dare you...You just as soon uttered that Kawasaki blows away Honda.

Awesome Camaro though. I'm glad GM got it back to a Camaro rather than that stretched Geo Strom it became.
