Tweetwith my propane company. they gave me a bill at the end of the winter (may 07) for 512$...the bill was made out to my nieghbor, then scratched out with my info written in. i decided that it wasnt mine. i've never had a fill in may before, and last winter was kinda mild. i've been going around with them in june/july. i thaught it was all cleared up, but guess not, lol. they came yesturday and yanked my tank!!! i had enough hot water in the heater for 1 good shower.....the wife got that! i got the cold one, lol. gonna be one of those days!!!

yea, i was gonna switch out to electric, but every year we vote on running nat. gas....well, the vote keeps getting closer and closer to yes. and it would be cheaper than elec. for a 2800sq ft house...

i'm going with a diff. company (there's ALOT of them up here) and told the other one to take me to court....there's NO-WAY i went through 750gals of gas from 4/26-5/19!!! no fukin way!!! and that what it boils down too.

good for you. There have been times that I have wished so bad that I had a competitor to go to so I could tell one to eat shyt. From what you said about the bill, it's clearly their fault.

TweetDamn bor, that sucks big time! Go with the new company and tell them to fuk off. I had the electric meter reader idiot read my meter wrong and when I called to ***** they said 'you have to pay it and it will balance out next time.' So, I did, and the jackass read it wrong again so I took a damn picture of the meter and went down there and got a little loud. The manager came out and fixed it. The jackass got put on another route because it's been a different guy ever since. And, no problems. The problem with propane is, if the driver says he filler your tank, there should be a signature on the manifest. That's what they will need to get you to pay. So, fuk 'em!

As for the prices, try living in Colorado at 6,600 feet above sea level. We used to go months with the heat on all damn day. Well, I've added a couple feet of insulation to the attic, replaced all the windows to new double pane vinyl ones and replaced our exterior doors. But, it still doesn't help enough. I'm strongly considering a fireplace or wood burning stove. Something that I can fuel with a litt sweet investment (choping wood) and then not have to pay anymore. I would probably get it going in the morning and late night to cut down on electric bills.

Tweeti got a fireplace, but for the last couple years, we've been spending more time in the basement, where there's not a fp. this year, we'll be in the upstairs livingroom more!!

new tank gets hooked up today at 2pm....it's not like i was gonna go all grizzly adams n'shyt!! heating up water is getting old already!! lol
