Tweethe was fired for plagiarism and falsification of his credentials from what I understand. His comment about the WTC victims being "little ****s" only got the powers that be to start looking at him. His own fault. His anti-American ravings really had nothing to do with his firing. I second that!! The University was looking for reasons to protect their credibility and he had given them what they needed.
