Circuit City Sucks!!!

TweetI tried to preorder GTA4 and Halo 3 on Circuit City online. Not only would it not allow me to use gift cards to place the order, but it wouldn't allow me to use the $15 off $100 or more coupon I have!

I called the morons at their customer service (whom mind you were in freaking India, and didn't understand a damn word I said) and they said that although it isn't listed as an exclusion on the coupon, they don't allow coupons to be applied to video games or pre orders! WHAT MORONS! That's why they have exclusions, because those are things that are excluded from the offer. If something isn't excluded....THAT MEANS IT'S INCLUDED!!!!

Furthermore they boast their gift cards are the same as cash, yet they will not let me use it for a pre-order, but they will let me use my credit card. Where is the logic in that?

No surprise Circuit City is closing 72 stores this year! They suck, and 99% of their employees are full of themselves for no reason! They think their special because they work at Circuit City.....oooooooh impressive, I wish I could make $7 an hour! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

TweetYeah. As you can already tell from every post I make, I'm huge on rights. If something is written (like our constitution) it is to be followed to the T. If something is left out, too bad!

Nowhere did it say excludes video games or preorders. It did say excludes video game consoles, which means the actual system.

Also their gift cards do not say you can't use it for a pre-order. Man do I hate that company with a passion! I love how 99% of the guys that work there are ricers. I just want to wait till they get out of work and whip some rice at them!

TweetI would but the problem was I have $120 in gift cards at Circuit city and I just purchased a coupon for $15 off any purchase of $100 or more that can be used online only.

Also they don't allow you to pay the whole game off when you preorder in the store, they only let you put $10 down on it. Problem with that is then the coupon can't be used because $10 X 2 = $20 not $100 so I won't get my $15 off the purchase. However online will let you pay for the whole game when you preorder it but won't let me use gift cards OR the coupon.

Yeah trust me if I could I would've went to EB games because they are very customer oriented. But they don't accept Circuit City gift cards. Last time I ask for gift cards here!

Tweetthat does suck!! their bean counter's work all the angle's to make sure it come's out to their advatage!! i wouldnt just throw the gift cards out, but i'd go a different route to get what i want now, and use those instore at a later date...and that'd be the end of me being in that store!
