sad thing is most will read that and interpret it like complete uneducated morons thinking it says only terrorists can't buy guns. That's where Bush always wins. It's the average dumb americans that don't see what he's doing! They don't get that terror suspect is anyone! suspect is vague and that's why even law enforcement is against it. Pretty sad!

TweetIt's a good idea done the wrong way. Sure, I would love to make sure terror suspects can't get guns, but in reality, it will never happen. Just like the site stated, the term 'suspect' has no legal definition so it will be impossible for something like this to be effective.

The problem with gun control is, you never know who the guns should not be in the hands of until it's too late. If they really want to make gun control safer they need to devise a thorough psyche test that will somehow describe the mental state of the person buying the gun. But, with any test, the answers can be falsified. In all honesty, I would love for there to be some way to keep guns out the hands of dangerous people but in reality there's no way to know how far someone will go with that gun. Take me for example, I don't own a gun and I don't want one, but if someone were to harm my wife or child or even kill them, there's a good chance I would use that gun to get even. Now, there is no way to predict something like that. So, gun control is a joke. We have the right to bear arms and so we must learn to cope with the outcome of the actions of mentally disturbed people. You can't take things away just because a small portion of society uses that things to do harm to others. What's next, butcher knives, ice picks, power tools, what? If someone wants to do harm, trust me, there's plenty of other options besides guns to do that harm.

Do you think that kid at VT would have killed any less people had he not been able to buy a gun? My guess is that he would have just made some bombs and maybe killed even more people.

People that want to kill other people will use every and any method available to them. Having guns or not having guns does not stop people from murdering each other. Having guns, however, can help keep citizens safe!

Dave you hit the nail there bro. Thats the thing. You think people that are hiding would go into a place and try to buy a gun? LOL ...I can go and call an handfull of guys right now and have probably 10-20 guns by tonight. Its not hard to find guns if you know the underground. But the government is stealing our rights and taking control, just look at the homeland security, to protect us. Yeah right. This bull **** war, if you want to protect US bring our boys fing home and keep mexico from flooding in, guard the boarders here. Not over there where our guys are sacrificing their lives at 20 years old for the stupid government and its bad ideas....

Yeah you've agreed with stuff before. But I was saying in general. A few others are never on the same page. But for a first in history these select few are all in agreeance with me on a political view. It's almost as if the stars were aligned perfectly for this wierd and odd occurance.
