Is this what scar tissue causes/is? After getting the needle in do you ever feel like your body is pushing the need out, like if you were to let go, there's actually pressure pushing the needle out of your body slightly. And when I have noticed this a couple of times, it is really hard to inject also. I can't push the plunger, like its blocked. Is this because of scar tissue?

I got a few places that the pin is hard to push in and the sound is hilarious....Scar tissue for me is more like keeping the pin in than pushing it out...I can let it hang out of my bicep and it will just sit in there...I have to yank on it a bit to get it out once in awhile...Try and use a longer pin in larger muscle groups and avoid overuse of an area.

scar tissue will usually sounds like something is tearing or crunching when pushing the pin in and it can be hard to inject in. Maybe go with a deeper needle,if you are using 1 inch in large muscle maybe go 1.5 to get in past the tissue. You should try not to inject in scar tissue because of the poor dispersion and chance of sterile abscess.

I didn't think I'd done enough to get scar tissue, but I guess I do have it. I'll hvae to change things up a little more I guess.

i have had the same prob from my very fist cyc. i have a hard time believing it's scar tissue, but i dont have a clue what it is. only happens in my right delt, only in a specific spot. almost impossible to push the plunger (i have actually blown out the pin trying!). i've had it happen with 22 and 23ga. pins, all 1".
i thaught it was just me! lol
