Tweetyea, i think it should. lifting has certainly helped me out in many ways in life...maybe it'll help them out as well.
TweetI was watchin a show on prisons the other day and this one had a powerlifitng meet. What are you guy's thoughts on this, should it be allowed? I also recently read that the USAPL has sanctioned a prison meet and may do more in the future.

I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
TweetWell I can see both sides of it. On one hand it teaches goal setting and a healthier lifestyle but it also creates bigger, stronger criminals and considering most of those cats aren't first timers they may end up committing even more violent crimes in the future. I really don't know what I think about it.
Tweet^ true Kite...then you have those that believe that theyre prisoners and shouldnt be given such privileges, etc.
I'm on the fence with it basically
TweetI have mixed feeling on it. I think I may have watched the show before. If the guys get into any trouble they are banned from it while they are there. It seemed like it gave them goals and a meaning to stay out of trouble while they are serving but on the other hand its making them stronger criminals. I guess I would rather see prisons like the one in I think arizona where the guys are living in tents and working on chain gangs with only the basics.
TweetI have woked in a prison for 8 years. The state I work for removed the weights a few years back due to the weights being used to break through block walls during a disturbence. They also flattend out an officers head with a 25. Sooo **ckem the *****es can do pushups and dips all day.( Which they do)
Tweeti have mixed feelings...in one way i thnk they should sit in their cell and rot...but then, i thnk, "s h i t i could be in their shoes easy with my aas usage", so.. guess i am a hypocrite
TweetI don't think they should be given any recreational items. They should just sit in the jail cell and stare at the wall. I don't even think they deserve more than one meal per day.
