Tweetdoesnt matter who they get at QB(except mike vick).there O-line SUCKS.
you cant throw on your back.
I don't know you.But I know your kind.
TweetAOM - shut your mouth!
This is the worst day ever for me....and Schaub. Not only did they just ruin ATL but they are going to ruin Schaub. Petrino had better have some big time tricks up his sleeve, which I'm assuming he does. He already grabbed one of the biggest best blocking FB's in the game, which will help his style of offense, he grabbed a big OL guy but that's it. He's going to need to use those two draft picks in the second round to get some huge OL. That's his game, push people around, which ATL's little OL can't do right now. But, to get rid of Schaub, I just don't get it. I guess they are going to create a game plan that if Vick goes down, Shockley can step right into, which makes sense. He's a good scrambler and more accurate than Vick. Heck, his first year as a started he led UGA to a SEC Championship, so that says a lot.
As for Schaub, he's not going to be any better than Carr was. That line sucks ass. Carr will go somewhere and live up to his ability, Schaub is going to get abused in Houston and then reduced to nothing. Unless, they get him a whole new line and a FB that can actually pick up the blitz. They have a ton of holes on that offense.
TweetCome on playa! You really think the Texans don't have a plan behind Schaub? Look at the 2 HUGE names they picked up last year in the running game....Simkon Gado and Ahman Green. There goes your ground and pounfd running game. They released Eric Moulds to make some room. Expect Carr to be traded and get 2 WR and a draft pick in return. Cleveland, Detroit, Green bay, KC, you name it. Any of those teams and more would kill to have a young Carr.Texans are building. Don't be suprised to hear about a big name WR they pick up very soon.

TweetNone of that does any good if the line can't make holes and can't pass block, which they can't. They can have all the weapons, but without the front line, they will never get a chance to use them. They need to trade Carr for a top notch lineman and a draft pick. There have been plenty of teams with weapons, just look at the Lions. Harrington is not a bad QB, but when he pressured, when ANY QB is pressured, they can't play to their full potential. Of course, maybe Schaub can deveope a good three step drop and get the ball out quickly, if he can do that, things will get interesting. I'm glad I grabbed several of his rookie cards, I know one day they'll be worth something.
