TweetYep seems like black people accel in sports. I've heard different thoughts on this but not sure what to think.
Anyhow white or black all people have different genetics and some are more blessed than others.
TweetAt the gym there is this little black kid, and by little, I mean little, but ripped. You know when you walk through a sports store and they have the manaqine with the Under Armor clothing. Well, this kid looks like a mini version of one of those manaqines. Seriously, he's very lean but pretty godd muscle bellies and his abs stick out through the shirt. By far the only person I've seen in real life that pulls of the Under Armor clothing as well as the manaqine. Anyways, he's a little dude about 5'6" and 155 pounds. He puts 315 on the bar and rips off 8 deadlifts with no support, no chaulk, no belt, nothing. Then, he throws 365 on there and rips off 6 like it's nothing. I think he could gutted a 7th one out. So, I ask him how much he weighs and that's when I found out it was 155. On top of that, he's still in HS. I don't know what age or what grade, but he is a little tank. I would have never in my life gave him credit for 255 for 6 reps. He's built like a cornerback. Anyways, just thought I would share that with you PWer guys. I was totally impressed.

TweetRegardless of his race I think the emphasis is on his age, weight and strength?
TweetSome people are naturally able to pull (deadlift) better than others.
Did you see him do anything else?? Is he just as strong on other lifts.
TweetThat's pretty damn impressive. If you really wanna check out a complete genetic FREAK do a search on Oleksander Kutcher or just go to kutcherstrong.com. He's from the Ukraine and competes @ 165 and I think he's around 5'4" or so. Anyway this cat is sick!
TweetI wasn't trying to make it a racial thing, just trying to paint a picture of what the kid looked like, that's all. The fact he is black was just to help people picture him in their heads, that's it.
TweetDude, the only reason I said he's black was to help you guys paint a mental picture of the kid, not to make some kind of racial comparison. LOL
TweetWell, I've seen him put 405 on the smith squat for a few reps but he doesn't do a full parallel squat so I don't give him much credit for that. I would like to see what he could do parallel though.
TweetLol, it's a race thread now, lol! Unlike T, I was making a thing about the Ukraines, those mutha fukkers are quickly becoming a dominating force.
TweetI dont see why you had to put in that he was black T LOL Just kidding bro. That is very impressive do you know if he played sports or anything or is he just into lifting? its amazing there are some small guys that you look at them and go there is no way they go lift over 200 but bam they surprise you.
TweetI'll ask him about sports next time I see him. I'm just getting back into the gym so there are a lot of new faces and I don't talk to that many people. Otherwise, you end up having a dozen people come over and tell you about their week during your workout. I don't even know how old he is either, but if he's like 16 or something, I'm going to give him some pointers because the dudes he trains with are all about his age so they don't know crap.
Tweetsounds like the kid has some great potential if he is that young just needs some good direction
