Tweethow about blue
TweetHey Guys!
Since the mustang has been parked for the winter, I've started one of my winter projects. Basicly, I'm changing to white face guages with blue backlighting.
I'm using some of those ultra-bright LED's for the blue blacklighting.
So here's the reason for my post....
What color do you guys think my guage needles should be?
The factory color is Orange, but I've noticed that orange doesn't show up well under blue lighting.
What color would look good and show up well under blue lighting?

Thanks!

TweetI did this on my taurus SHO a few years ago. I painted my needles a flourescent yellow color, it looked cool. I had white guages, blue lighting and yellow needles.
TweetWith blue lighting? Would that show up at all?Originally posted by pudgy
how about blue
TweetYellow was the color I was leaning towards as well.Originally posted by LadiesMan

Do the needles still look yellow at night?
Tweetyeah they still look yellow, as long as the yellow color you choose isn't too dark
TweetAnother vote here for a yellow needle. I think that would show up pretty good with blue lights.
TweetYellow needles here as well...bright yellow...let me test out the car though...
