TweetIslamic Terror Group Posts Video Appearing to Show Chemical Rocket Attack Against U.S. Base in Iraq

A video was posted Thursday on the Web that graphically shows members of a well-known and highly organized Islamic insurgent group preparing and launching four missiles loaded with chemicals at a U.S. military base near Samarra, Iraq.

The video, which is posted on several Islamic Web sites, appears to show the attack being carried out by members of the self-proclaimed Salahaldin Al-Ayoubi Brigades, the military wing of Al Jabha Al-Islamiyya l'il-Muqawama Al-'Iraqiyya (JAMI), which has carried out numerous bombing and rocket attacks against U.S. military installations, including a mortar attack last October 10 that destroyed a major military ammunitions dump and lit up the sky on the outskirts of Baghdad.

The new video show members of the militant group wearing gas masks while filling the missiles with a black chemical. The missiles then are loaded into launchers, taken into the field and fired.

A translation of graphics on the video indicates the attack took place on Tuesday. Several Islamic interest Web sites that point to the video concur that the accompanying text and audio identify the U.S. military base in Samarra, in the heart of Sunni Iraq, as the intended target.

The Salahaldin Al-Ayoubi Brigades also is part of the umbrella group Islamic Front of Iraqi Resistance. Their Web site is well known for posting videos of attacks U.S. military installations and troop and supply convoys.

TweetEnough is enough, drop one big bomb and go the phuk home. It was only a matter of time before this type of thing came into play. Now, if this is legit, it's too much of a risk to have ground troups. We need to finish this thing off with reconascence planes and jets.

TweetWell, I know first hand that many of them do want us there. Many of those people want freedom. The thing to realize is this, Iraq is a weak country and countries like Iran and Saudi want to keep it that way. They don't want equality throughout the region, those on top want to stay on top. Just imagine a free and peaceful Afganistan. Look at the mountians. You have any idea how many ski resourts they could build if it was a free and peaceful region? There are so many possibilities that it's crazy, but these minority uneducated extremists think that violence is the only way of life. That and the ego maniacs who want all the power and who fund these idiots to do what they do. That's what is ruining the area. All and all, these people would be totally different if they were all educated and given opportunities for a better life, they would. They are just too scared to fight for those things. What if our ancestors were to scared to fight the Brits? Where would we be now? This country was founded by fighters for what is right, so that's just what we do.
