It's just an extra paid day for them to slack off so the rest of us get our damn bills late! Damn government finds any excuse it can to be lazy!

Tweetit's kind of weird cause the post office is not owned by the government, that is the employees are not federal employees they have their own retirement account, and thus are not fed employees..

True, but it is considered an independent agency of the government like the FCC, FDIC, NSF, EPA...etc. It's just not part of one of the agencies that fall under the executive branch like the Department of Defense for example.
Tweetyes they are!!! My grandmother has 35 years with them, and i can assure you, they are govt employees. The retirement you speak of is because they are represented by a union.
