This is my 2nd set of speakers for my computer and Im still getting this annoying interference sound from them. Could it be my wireless internet? Anyone have any ideas? Are there some rules about how I should hook up all the cords to my computer so I dont get interference through the speakers?

The wireless internet shouldn't effect it since your speakers aren't wireless so there wouln't be a crossing of signals between the two items. Do you have a microphone set up with your PC? Usually mics cause a little noise and that is what you might e hearing. If so unplug the mic when not in use. If not then check your wires. The wires might have a splice/crack somehwere that is allowing noise to get in. Also sometimes the length of the wires can cause problems so if they are long cords if you can try to get shorter ones or just roll the cords up neatly so they aren't just dangling. That may or may not help!

Sound card, that's what I was thinking. Usually with speakers if the source tranmitting the sound is good they should be good at the pc level. It's not like a car where bose makes a huge difference over stock speakers. The best way to check if it's the sound card is to plug them into a friends pc and see how they sound. If they sound good then the next thing to do is go the website of the sound card and download the most recent driver for it. You very well could have downloaded an update for you pc or video card or something that has pushed it beyond what your sound card can keep up with. If after that it's still the same, then you will probably need to upgrade the sound card.

PS - when do you hear the sound? Is it intermitten or constant or just on specific games or songs? There could be a corrupt file and you may need to reload the game or song or something.

OK. Print these directions out and follow them step by step. Guaranteed to cure your problem. Ok? Here we go:
      1) Shut your computer down and turn off
      2) Unplug computer from wall
      3) Unplug speakers, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
      4) Roll all the cords up neatly in a ball
      5) Pick computer up.
      6) Carry computer to front door
      7) Open front door
      8) Throw computer in trash. Sell remainder of items on ebay.

      There, hope that helps!
