Why I am a PRIDE nuthugger!!!

TweetBecause my faovrite fighters are guys who proved themselves before the GAY TUF fans started becoming the majority of UFC fans.
My favorite fighters are as follows Fedor, Nog,CroCop, Hendo, BJ Penn, Linland, Rampage and Wand.

These fighters have proven time and time again that they will fight anybody any time and have mad skills to back it up. These fighters don't recieve much mainstream U.S. publicity so these retarded TUF fans don't understand how....

1)BJ Penn is tougher, more technical and more fight savvy/aware than Diego, Hughes or GSP could ever dream of being.

2)Rampage and Wand could both win the 205lb UFC title in such brutal fashion that The UFC would probably get taken off cable again.

3) If Fedor, CroCop and Nog all jumped ship and went UFC there would be no HWT class ever again. It would just be called Fedor,Nog,Crocop division. They would take turns fighting each other until they retired. This would create some of the best fights MMA would ever see. The only time a contender would enter would be when Vera got enough experience. I like Vera; good guy, tough and smart. We'll see good things from him.

4)I Lindland and Hendo went UFC again it would be the same story as heavyweight except 185 would be called " Hendo, Lindland and Silva division." Rich Franklin would try training insaenly to get into the division but he could never quite squeak by anybody. Then Lee Murray would escape prison, seek refuge in a non-extradition country and put Franklin into retirement.

These FACTS are why all of you TUF noobs call me a nuthugger.

lindland had his shot at the ufc 185# belt. does he have it now? he is a boring lay and pray fighter. i am not saying he is not a top 10 middleweight, he just isnt the caliber of the top 5.

penn had his shot as well. maybe technically he is a more skilled fighter than GSP or hughes but he isnt the best fighter, he lacks cardio. without this neccesary part of the game he wont be the champ.

as for chuck vs wandy or rampage, you dont give the man enough credit. let them come to the ufc. with the cage to stand up off of i think he would beat both guys although liddell silva is the fantasy matchup of the decade IMO

pride does have the best HWs. silvia has suprised me with his improvement on the ground and the way he moves while striking. i am gonna go out on a limb and say it wouldnt be an easy fight.

size matters and with heavy hands he has a punchers chance

also i hate the pride format. a ring sucks, and no elbows? stomping a guys head in pride is what gives MMA a bad name here in the USA

i love pride, but i also love the UFC. i havent missed a PPV since UFC 6.

If you call getting beaten up winning a fight then I guess you are right. GSP did nothing but get his face punched and score a couple of takedowns.

Actually, Lindland is ranked #1 at 185 in the world. Have you done any research lately? When was the last time Lindland won by lay and pray?
6 out of his last 8 fights he has won by tko,ko or sub. In his other 2 he beat Doerkensen badly @ UFC 54 for a decision and lost a very exciting split decision to Quinton Jackson (who is top 10 @ 205) which many people think that Lindlandwon.

No cage would save him from the beating Rampage imposed upon him in Pride. Not only did Quinton win the standup he GnP'ed the h-ll out of Chuck. Silva would do worse. Enough said.

I'll give you this one. I have nothing against Sylvia. I just don't see him beating Nog, Fedor, Barnett, Crocop or even Aleksander for that matter.
I do like Sylvia he just hasn't had the chance to face top tier competition.

I could careless what name MMA has. A true MMA fan gives a sh-t not whether the sport is mainstream or underground. Headstomps rule. It is a fight not a dance. LoL @ you for desiring elbows in a fight. Elbows are one of the worst aspects of the sport since they cause so many Dr. stoppages(the reason headbutts are disallowed).

Brother I aint hatin' if I sound like I am. I just get fiesty when I write/debate. I respected you opinion enough to disagree with it and reply.

i have fought before and when i am in my house i do much better, the only time i fought away i was mentally not focused because of the new suroundings. i am not comparing myself to a pro for i am as rank as they come but being a fighter gives you perspective. i assume you fight being a fan? I agree with everythign you just said MarkRiley.......Don't get me wrong I love UFC but Pride has the better fighters....Look how Liddell rules UFC when he tried to fight in pride he got his ass handed to him (mostly because he didn't have a fence to crawl back up) as for BJ he is the man He lost to GSP for one single fact and that was lack of cardio the only thing GSP could do to BJ was take him down after it went to the ground GSP did nothing....When he fought hughes he walked right through him the first time second time his cardio was up to par but he sperated a rib you watch the first 2 rounds and he was picking hughes apart!!! Bring Fedor, Nog, or crocop to UFC they will wipe the mat with anyone and I mean anyone in the UFC
