Tweetim sure hes happy- now they're a real contender
Tweetthe nuggets got iverson for smith and another player plus 2 first round drafts to the 76ers..The nuggets are gonna be the new team to beat in the west now imo..They're gonna be one exciting team with melo and iverson
(candidates@google:ron paul )
TweetNot really, teams will have to choose one or the other. I think the 15 game suspension will do him more damage than having Iverson. Teams won't be able to shut both of them down, they just won't.
Tweetit should be interesting to see overson with a decent teamate..hes never had another great offensive option

They should make it to the playoffs but they wont get past San Antonio, Phoenix or Dallas...It should be exciting though
Im gonna get so big I cant dress myself
TweetITs a pretty fair trade I think. I don't know if it makes the Nuggies a contender, but they are better and potentially more interesting to watch.
It sucks for Andre Miller though, now doesn't it?
TweetNot a fair trade at all IMO. Any time you trade a star you never get equal value in return. Look at the Sixers past trades of Chamberlain, Moses Malone, and Barkley for example. Andre Miller is decent, nothing to write home about, Joe Smith's contract expires so they'll gain some cap room there, and the two picks they acquired will be late first rounders (Nuggest, Mavs) and nowhere near lottery picks.
The Nuggets should be able to light up the scoreboard even more (hell, I think they're averaging 108pts per game right now)...
Tweetnot good, iverson was a staple in philly, im not happy
in delaware we dont have pro sports so we mostly levitate to philly teams, birds-sixers-flyers
TweetI saw on ESPN last night they were saying 'so, who's team is it going to be in Denver?'. Why do they have to start shit already? Seriously, why does it have to be anyones team? See, it's this kind of crap that the media does that causes problems on teams. Last time I checked, the team belongs to the owner, end of discussion. Everyone else is just an employee.
TweetI loved watching him play, but on the flipside, there is so much BS that the Sixers organization just swept under the carpet with Iverson. He was often late for team meetings, skipped out on team functions, had off the court incidents, etc.
Plus he only works hard on the offensive side of the ball. There's no way with his speed and athleticism that he shouldn't be a great defender, and that's what seperates him from players such as Jordan and Kobe (even though I hate Kobe).
I have no doubt that atleast in the short term, he'll play the part of a good soldier out in Denver.
TweetConsidering that Iverson is on the downside of his career, it was a fair trade. Its not like he's 25. I know what you mean though. For the next few years he will probably keep producing at a high level and it will look lopsided. But long term, I think its all right. Besides, this is more about their own draft picks in the next 2 years - and a guy named Oden.

Jordan and Kobe shouldnt be used in the same sentence unless ur sayin Jordan is better than Kobe...Kobes ****y and a ball hog...If u were to put him on the Bulls instead of Jordan in the 90's I dont think they would of won a championship
Im gonna get so big I cant dress myself
TweetLoL you don't think they would've won even 1 out of 6 championships???
I don't like Kobe even a little as I find him to be a spoiled rich, arrogant ass punk, but I can't deny that he's a great, great player. Oh and by the way, he DID win three championships with the Lakers...
Tweetreason being they had shaq...after shaq left no more championships
Im gonna get so big I cant dress myself
