TweetWhy not wait until that week has come and gone. If not try your best to eat and do some training , im sure you could do enough to avoid atrophy at least.
If you know your not going to be able to train or eat , I would wait.
TweetHey guys-
Hypothetical question for all:
If you were planning out a cycle (say 14 weeks of 500mg test e) and knew that you had one week within the first month of that cycle that you were NOT going to be able to train or eat optimally, would you go ahead with it? OR would you chose to delay the start of the cycle for 4-5 weeks until you you were able to do it right the entire time.
I think I can guess tha answer, but want to hear it from the more experienced guys here first....
Thanks.

TweetJUST DEPENDS....PERSONALLY, ID START IT AND EXTEND IT ON OUT IN THE END TO MAKE UP FOR IT
TweetYa id want to wait but Im sure I wouldnt be able too
TweetExactly brother. Listen boss this is the way I see it. Part of building muscle is rest/recuperation. Think of that week as a recupe week. You also could try and get almost to the point of overtraining up to the week you have off...then you might notice some nice gains during the week you have off.
A week off isnt going to kill anyone or hurt your gains. I've been at this for awhile. A week is a week.
Tweet...just to add to this a bit. I dont miss much time in the gym. But as I've gotten older and wiser I listen to my body, if I need an extra day or two off I take it. I notice much better gains. Don't be afraid of time off just plan accordingly.
TweetAll right fellas. I appreciate the help. Once I get things rollin', I'll post up on the details.
TweetIf I knew that about 4 weeks in I was going to have an unavoidable off week I would start now and just overload things the first 4 weeks and use that week to recover. I usually take a full week off every 12 weeks anyways to let my body heal. Also, one week of eating bad won't destroy you unless you are leaning out for a comp, other than that, just do what you have to do.
TweetNice. Just what I was hoping to hear guys.
TweetMaybe not training for a week is okay BUT consuming proper calories for a week is critical. You only are on this stuff for a short time. The more you slack off the less gains you will get. IT'S THE GUYS WHO NEVER MISS A MEAL, NEVER SKIP A WORKOUT, THEY R HUGE AND THIS IS WHY. GIVE IT 100% OR NOTHING AMIGO
