TweetSure are the tell-tale signs bud I had surgery on mine about 5 years ago...
TweetFor those of you who have had a hernia was there a sign that you were getting one? Ever since I've started doing the 5x5 routine 3 weeks ago, whenever I do squats around the second set, 3rd rep on, I get this electric shock type pain in my right testis. Is this a sign of getting a hernia or something else? It stops to hurt after I'm done. This happened a year ago when I did the MAX-OT routine but it was my left testis. The pain went away but now it's back, but on my right. Any thoughts as to what it could be?

umph....I wonder?
TweetAny other symptoms Sup....bulging?
I'm only really familiar with umbilical and incisional hernias.
TweetNope, no bulging. I don't see/feel any other symptons yet. If the pain gets worst I'll go see a doc before it becomes a full blown hernia!
TweetI've had that happen a couple of times, but it always goes away. I don't know what it is.
TweetOh, and honestly bro, take it easy for a bit. Surgery is a ***** and a half. Work on your breathing and research your ass off to do what you need to do in order to not have surgery. just my .02, best of luck and keep us posted!
TweetThe pain from a year ago on the left side went away! Now it's the ride side. I hope it goes away as well.
TweetYeah I think I will go down in weight for a while and then move back up to see if the pain comes back or not.
TweetSupa, been there done that bro. I had the same pain in my testes while doing squats. I ignored it and continued going heavy until my intestine ripped through my abdominal wall and caused a bulging inguinal hernia about the size of a golf ball. I knew it was a hernia then because I could push my intestines back through my abs. I got cut on in Sept. of last year laproscopically and I am at 100% now but the recovery sucked. If you do have a hernia and want to get cut on to get it repaired PM me and ill give you some tips of what worked for me in the recovery process.
TweetCool, thanks bro. I'll let you know what happens. I won't be going heavy for a while so we'll see!
Tweeti have only had the umbilical so i cant help. but surgery blows.
