      Default Help with buying car

I drove a friend's 350 z and I have gone Z crazy. Tired of my car, tired of a 4 door. Can some of you older and wiser people give me some questions to ask the seller and what all to look for when I see the car. I have a couple to look at this week, and I think of all kinds of good stuff to ask and look at, but when I get to see it, I forget some of it. I am in no rush to buy, I don't fall in love with cars, I will never overpay. I thought about making a good checklist to take with me, my dad is excellent as this kind of stuff, but he hates looking at cars. He trusts that I can make a good decision, but I will run the final offer by him before I commit.

What yr, asking price, any bodywork, records of maintenance, and modifications, is he/she the original title holder. I can't think of anything else yet.

Outta my range right now lol, 23 year old college student. Can't do the infinity just yet. I always said the same thing, that I would never have the Nissan, until I drove it. I love it. I have only ever owned Lexus, and I never thought I would buy a different brand.

Basically don't buy one from someone under 30yrs old who has already hooked it up. If it comes with any engine mods or other other mods, don't buy it. You want to buy one that is bone stock and you do the mods yourself. I've had friends hook up cars and sell it afterwards because of too much issues to deal with. So trust me.

I am almost 6'2", I would never want to cram in an S2000. I don't want a convertible, and especially not a soft-top. The z is perfect for me, it looks meaner then the G, and the G has a back seat, something I don't want.
