Gunny Green hit's 525 bench raw.
TweetMike "Gunny" Green benched 525 pounds raw in the 220 pound weight class yesterday at the SPF Irontoberfest in Hartford, Alabama. Green also made attempts at 475 and 500 pounds but missed a fourth attempt at 550 pounds. Green is chasing the 220 class raw record of legend Mike Macdonald, who benched 582 pounds in 1979.
Gunny Green is a hell of a guy for those of you who don't know him, always there to help out at meets and talk shop. Huge kudos to the devil dawg!
