Running with bears....on w**d.

TweetSo my bro Travis talked me into driving some deer for him yesterday. I led him up this hill up to some HV service line towers..before we topped out, we heard something big just on the otherside of these blackberry bushes we where walking along. maby 15ft between us and whatever was rustling in the bush. we huddled and made a game plan...Travis crested the hill and had a nice view,..so I started to flush this big elk/deer thing..it started hauling ass along side me,..so I ran after it maby 10 or so feet on the other side of the bush. I figured my bro should see it by now so I stopped,..then I heard him holler somethin',..I listened,......"BEAR"!! so I trotted back up the hill just laughing my ass off !! Travis was ecstatic !!! "did you see that thing"?..."it was a huge assed sow you where chasing"!! then he spotted it's cub (300lbs easy) at the bottom of the hill,..just sittin' there stareing at us. after ten minutes he ran to momma into the thick alder and bush and disappeared. Thinking to myself with a coy grin,.."im glad he didn't have a tag for bear".
