TweetTHATS GREAT NEWS MAN.
Tweet44 year old TheChosen1 may finally become a father.
Granted, I know you guys may hear that very often from couples and it's almost as exciting as watching paint dry. But this one is a bit different. 10 years ago, I was married to a very emotionally abusive woman and she wanted us to have a baby. To be sure of our health, she asked that we both get thouroughly tested and examed. And wouldn't you know, not one but two doctors claimed that I could not have children. Funny thing is, I got results from few sperm counts to no sperm counts and even millions and millions of dead sperms. Personally, I didn't believe them but my wife insisted that the doctors know what they're talking about. I was placed on various drugs to increase our possibilities. Clomids, testestorones, you name it.
Last month, my 26 year old live-in girlfriend told me that she and her best friend/co-worker has their periods at the same time and that her friend's period was the week prior. I began teasing her about being pregnant but she insisted that there was some confusion. The following week, she had to go to her hometown of Alabama to attend her father's funeral and we spoke on the phone daily. In addition to constantly telling her that I missed her, I asked her if "Aunt Flow" showed up. Each time was a NO SHOW.
Long story short........A couple of weeks ago, she was very tired (been that way alot lately) and decided to go to bed early. About an hour and half later, I went to bed and to my surprise, she woke up because she needed to talk to me. She looked up at me and told me, "I'm 5 weeks pregnant." I was completely surprised and happy. She told me that she didn't want to announce it to anyone yet because this is actually our 2nd pregnacy. She told me that she once had a miscarriage after only 4 weeks.
Maybe you ladies who have had or having children can help me because I'm hoping that since she is now almost 2 months pregnant, it's safe to say that it's a healthy pregnacy.

TweetLove? Support? Immediate Prenatal Care? Well, I guess 2 out of 3 ain't so bad...lol. She's definately got the love and care from me. But McKenzie, when she constantly have those late night fattening cravings (granted, my Sweetie is no small fry but I still try to monitor her caloric intakes), that's where I draw the line. LOL
