flax should slow down the whey, which is good. I personally eat a solid meal 1.5 hours prior to wk out.

IMO, save the flax for non workout times. Better to have carbs around your workout, they are more easily metabolized, and are a much more efficient energy source.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

The problem i have with carbs 1.5 hours before workout is that it makes me so sleepy and tired and i go to the gym dead. When i have a all protien meal with some vege and some fat i feel alot better, more energy and more motivated. I usually train at 4pm, my first 3 meals have carbs but my 4th the 1 before my workout i dont have carbs, so 6am carbs, 9am carbs, midday carbs then at 2.30 fats.. then 4pm train..

Hey man - if that's what works for you, go for it bro! I don't eat carbs 1.5 hours out though. I eat them about 15 min from my workout. I walk to the gym and I eat an apple, banana, or an orange on the way. My meal before the apple is 50g protein and 1 tlbs of flax oil. But that's at about 3:00 - I don't get to the gym till about 5:30 or 6.
