Got my results back

Tweetfrom my endoscopy last week. I have very bad acid reflux, a very raw esophogus (he told me that I was in a higher risk bracket for esophogial cancer) and a hiatal hernia. Gave me some meds and we'll see how it goes. I got on the freaking scale this morning and I'm down 15 pounds!!!! I think it's just from staying away from dairy for a couple weeks and protein shakes. It'll prolly come back fairly quick but it's just a big psychological shot in the ass!

I wish it worked like that, unfortunately it's the muscle that starts dropping first without enough protein.

TweetI just went through the same thing. I had acid reflux and some other problems that all went back to dairy products. Once I was off for a few weeks everything got better. I didn't need any medicine. But I can't use dairy at all any more. Had to switch to egg protein shakes. Lost some weight in the transition to.
I hope things get better for you.
