Its a couple weeks from spring training and i'm getting fired up already! This thread is usually pretty interesting so i thought i'd post it up. Your team can be made up of your all time faves or made to workl off of the players you have ( not personal favorites per position) I do mine that way..run any offense you like and any defense you like. I will go Pro set 3 wide 2rb..with a typical 4-3 base.

      HC- Bill Walsh
      OC- Mike Shananhan
      DC- Bill Billicek

OFFENSE- Basic West Coast Offense Bill Walsh style.

qb- Joe Monatanna- Perfect qb for my WCO system.( Steve Young a VERY close second)
RB- Marshall Faulk- Perfect back for crating mismatches and running the WCO
FB/HB Jerome Bettis- versitile tough and has hands...can't go wrong with him.
      WR- Jerry Rice- nuff said
WR-TO- Rice anf TO in their primes??? get real, it's already over.
WR/Slot Marvin Harrison- I'd flip flop him in TO every once in a while to create matchup problems...

      RT-Kevin Gogan-350lbs- Mean & nasty and massive...love this guy
RG-Ray Brown- 330 lbs of get down and dirty..pave the way big boy!
C-kevin Muai (sp) 300lbs of mobile muscle and smart as hell.
      LG-Ron Stone-340lbs- personal fave!
      LT- Jonathan Ogden-360lbs- nuff said

TE (option) Tony G, of course....

DEFENSE- Pressure , Pressure and more Pressure....relentless attacking is what i'm after!

SS- Ronnie Lott- best ever, can't miss with him
FS- Rod Woodson- hands, quicks and a nose for the ball..just what i want in a FS.
RCB-Aneas Williams- Shut down corner and a hitter from hell, perfect combo!
LCB-Sorry to Say that it's Deon Sanders...on my team his weaknesses are covered up. invaluable in coverage...
WSLB- Derrick Thomas- mack daddy of all OLB's ever, even Taylor.
ILB-Ken Norton JR- tough- smart and always reliable.
MIKE LB- Jack Lambert- HAHAHA- nuff said
OLB- Lawrence Taylor- #2 all time for me and behing R.White it's over!
DE- Reggie White- They didn't call him the minister of pain for nothing.
DT-John Randle- Power and speed, he's a killer.
DT-Bryant Young- Homer pick but so what, teamed up with Randle and Doleman it's too much quickness to deal with.
DE-Chris Doleman- Always loved this guy, nothing but sacks his whole career.

I'll take the early 90's Buffalo Bills team that dominated for 4 years straight. Can't beat the good ol days with Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, and Marv Levy heading them off. If it wasn't for the Buffalo Curse they would have made history!

I don't follow football anymore after 4 years of upset from the bills. The only change I would make would be a different kicker, so we would've actually won one and the winning kick wouldn't have been wide right!

tough to put a better team together than the Steelers of the 70's or the Cowboys of the mid 90's....by far the 2 most dominating teams in NFL history.....just look at the number of hall of famers/future ones on those teams...WOW!

I like your team Nate except with Brett Favre or Dan Marino as QB. Barry Sanders as RB and Mike Alstott as FB. You can have Bettis as the back up BR but Mike has better hands and he can bulldog people just as good as bettis. But, you are leaving out one of the fastest dudes of all time, Darrell Green. You can't have a drean team and leave off Darrell Green, IMO. Oh, I think there needs to be room for Mike Singletary too. IMO Also, Don Beebe as the 4th WR.

How in the hell did i forget about Darell Green? I'm almost ashamed that i did..thats just fukking wrong!

I chose Faulk over Sanders bc i felt he fits my offense better than Barry. I'm not saying Faulk is a better RB, just better for what i need in a RB. Its WCO, i need a guy with excellent hands that can block.

Alstott over Bettis? Again i feel that Bettis fits my needs better than Alstott. They both bulldog at a top level but i think Bettis is alot better at screens and is more elusive in the open field. Plus, Bettis followers his blockers better than Alstott IMO. Blocking? i might give the edge to bettis again but its probably a wash.

Beebe? No way, i hate that lil focker

Singletary- never did like him that much and Lambert is one of my faves...with my LB unit, i can afford to pass lil mike....I'd take Urlacher before Mike...
