Tweetthats a distinct possibility that you are gaining muscle and lowering bodyfat...
TweetI hadn't been on a strict diet for quite some time. Well, i'm about 20% bf, I started my diet, high protein, lowered my carb intake, and my fat is low. It has been about 2 wks. I'm doing cardio 4 - 5 x per week, 60 - 70% of MHR (incline walking). I'm lifting 5x per week as well. I just weighed myself and I am the same weight. Could it be possible that I'm gaining muscle while losing some bodyfat. I carry most of my bodyfat on my upperbody, especially gut area. I have noticed a decrease in gut size. I messed up cuz I did not take my measurements. I'll keep track of them starting tonight. Just a simple question. Thanx
My stats:
5'6
26yrs old
185 lbs

TweetYes it could be! Weigh yourself in another month. It takes time to see actual weight lost!!!
TweetAt your stats and genetics I wouldn't go to the gym 5 days a week to lift.Originally Posted by XxDAHULKxX

Before about a year ago I was 198lbs @ 18-19%BF. And I was making alot of mistakes that you are. If you want I can point in you the right direction of someone that can help you (it would be the same person that trained and still does train me).
