TweetI just purchased an all-inclusive today. I leave this coming sat and will be gone for 8 days. Has anyone here ever stayed at the GR Soloaris Resort and Spa? It looks very nice. This will be my third trip to Cancun. I love it there!

TweetI just got back from Cancun two weeks ago with my fiance. Definatly had a blast. The water is the best part no doubt, about 80 degrees. We had an all inclusive at the Grand Oasis Playa. We definatly ate a ton of food, drank, swam, and jet skiied.

Tweetive stayed at the solaris the first time i went to cancun,, its pretty nice there you should have a good time, its a little older crowd then the oasis..

TweetDoes GR stand for "Grand"? I took a look, and it appears to look like a nice resort Js. I find there are like 4 catagories of inclusive 1. Couples, 2. Families, 3. Seniors 4. Singles. This looks like it caters more to the couples/families, although looks can be deceiving, you'll not know untill you get there, lol! Has your travel agency sent anyone there to look at the resort? Some agencies will send some of their agents to look and rate the resorts. This helps sometimes, but in some cases it doesn't help, because everyones tastes are dif. Like when i scheduled owr honeymoon yrs ago, the agent had sent someone to checkout a resort in Jamacia and said it was catering to couples, very nice, laid back etc..When we arrived it was like a party fest for singles and swingers, lol! First thing we did after unpacking was to go to the center lounge and first thing happen is my wife is hit on by some women. Enjoy yourself Js!

I amost booked the Dreams but figured it would be better for couples. OF course, this one appears to be that way too but hopefully there some singles there too.

I think I can but the one I have is probably one of the nicest ones down there. It is also booked full. There are no nice adults only ones left. I thought about doing grand oasis instead but it is 3.5 star and mine is 4 star. The expedia agent highly recommended my choice as well. As soon as I told him which one he said "great choice." I also told him it was me and another guy going to have some fun and party.
