Tweeti liked the movie but i thought it was nothing like the book?
TweetI give it a B+
I little drawn out, but good overall. Wife says it was the book almost to the T. I'm not really a Tom Hanks fan, but he did good on this.

TweetThe movie was ok. I didn't see what the big controversy was about. You could tell it was fictitious. If someone changes their thoughts on religion because of this movie, they really weren't sure of their religion to begin with. I think the movie was good because it was Tom Hanks. If it was someone else I doubt I would have liked it. Too much dialogue and not enough action for me!!!
Tweeti give it a B+ also... it was solid... but no brave heart!!! it was a tad drawn out ... i was ready for it to end.... but all and all a good story.
TweetIts the people that dont believe in Christ or the ones that on the edge of believing in Him that it could hurt, because it is very far from that truth about Christ! The authur also says its fiction just like the Bible is fiction. This is where the controversy is coming from!!!Originally Posted by supasaiyan99

TweetI was skeptical about the movie just because movies are never as good as the books are. Can anyone think of a movie that was better than the book?

Yes, Opus Dei is a real society. I have friends that are confirmed Mason's
TweetI dunno, the movie was alright, but the best character was by far Ian McKellen (sp?).
TweetI loved the book and am looking forward to the movie. But I'm not a fan of Ron Howard as a director...
