-arginine is a substance that is found naturally within the human body, capable of being independently produced as well as found within natural poultry food sources such as chicken and turkey.

It is believed that one of the many responsibilities of L-arginine is the production of sperm and maintenance of healthy sperm motility in males. Due to the fact that persons who have not yet reached their early twenties are typically able to maintain sufficient levels of L-arginine on their own through food sources and the body’s maintenance and production of HGH, it is not recommended for people of this age range to take manufactured forms of L-arginine.

Synthetic forms of L-arginine should not contain any sugars, as they tend to counteract the positive effects of L-arginine. Quality products should also not contain lysine, or any proteins that might interfere with the effectiveness of L-arginine.
