      Alright, I finally started shooting myself, and so far have only hit my delts and right glute. I want to start shooting quads, and had some questions.

      I've looked at spot injections, and a few other sites, and it seems like the spot is almost halfway between your hip and your knee, but a little closer to the knee. Also, it seems like you go in totally to the side, so if you were sitting the pin would be parallel to the ground. Is this correct? Should I let my leg dangle, or have my foot on the ground? Finally, I have 1" pins, so I thought I would go in around 75% of the way or so, is that okay?

      Thanks, and any other tips would be appreciated.

      I put my thumb right were my leg attaches to my torso. strech out hand place index finger on quad and that is the area I try to hit. this on top. however I'm no authority. Vets please correct me if I'm wrong

      I've been shooting quads for a while now. I shoot just about half-way between the knee and my hip. I just sit down on the toilet or chair or whatever and when I shoot the needle is almost straight up. I tend to shoot a little to the outside of the quad, but not much from the center. I've never done it with the needle parallel to the ground and I've never had any problems. Just my $0.02.

      Thanks guys, the letting my arms fall part led to a nice meaty part of my leg. I will use that as the distance gauge, then go somewhere between the top and the side. It's in a few days, so I will let you guys know how it goes.

      Quad great. Easy to see, you can easily use both hands and it is a nice large muscle to hit so it gives u a little more area to inject in. Let us know how it went.

      I do quads exclusively. I rarely feel anything. I do it just like spotinjections and the pin is just about parallel to the floor. I went in straight up and down once and had more pain than usual, so now it's parallel to the floor for me.

      Do not let your leg dangle. I sit on the toilet with my leg out in front of me bent at about a 45degree angle with my foot on the ground. The key is to totally relax your leg.

      I love thigh injections since they are sooooo easy to aspirate and all. If I ever do ED/EOD injections, I guess I'll have to try other spots, but for now, I see no need to.

      i like quad injections too, it's easy to control the amount your injecting so you can go nice and slow.i find it better to sit on the floor or bed with your leg straigtened out. and i have the syringe just about parallel to the floor. you can also put your middle finger at the top of your knee and extend your thub as high up your thigh as possible. this will give you the same area as bouncers method, it's just easier to do sitting down

      Ifyou use a one inch pin go ahead and bury it so you don't move the needle around while injecting. Don't worry, it takes a lot to break a pin so you wont lose it in your leg like some fear.

      After I do it, should I do some leg presses or something at the gym to work the quads out a little?
