Is it a good idea just to order whey ion exchange isolate on its own with nothing mixed in?? Except the splenda and flavour. Also wanna know about the Hydrolyzed whey? Any info would be appreciated..

I recently tried PF's " Post Workout Formula". Its not the best tasting protein thats for sure. Many people stand by PF and like it. It should be a quality product and so on but they take no time/money to develop a "flavor" like other companies do. Its just the protein and the bare essentials to make it consumable. The Post workout formula I got was pretty bad. Straight ion exchange whey would be the most bitter thing you have ever tasted. Its easy to say " I can chug it - fuck the taste" but day after day of it when you arent even hungry (after real food) it gets hard.

      Too bad AST's Vp2 and Nytro-Pro-40 are Pricey. I love AST's stuff.
Prolab seems to be decent and cheap also. 5lb Pure Whey from DPS is like 24 bucks. My only complaint is that it foams like 2x its volume in a shaker/blender. Again, AST doesnt.....

Dont waste your money on the Glutamine man. Check the " Glutamine is worthless" post. Its becoming common knowledge that Glutamine offers no real benefit to us. The studies are being posted all over the place.

bro, the ion exchange whey tastes fine with only chocolate flavor and splenda added. As far as the hydrolyzed whey, it is gross, unless added to another protein type so as to dampen the taste.

      I LOVE PROTEINFACTORY

Hydrolyzed whey is partially digested to make it more easy for humman digestion. The protein molecules are split into smaller groups called peptides.
The amino acids are called peptide bonds. The combination of whey isolate and hydrolyzed whey are extremly solubility and nutritional.
Usually hydrolyzed whey comes with a peptide number of how many peptides are actually in the whey.
Hydrolyzed whey has a bitter taste, even a sweetner doesn't really take the taste away.
A blender usually used to mix. I don't care for it

      My formula

      cfm whey isolate
      casein
      egg
      milk isolate
Success cannot be guaranteed. There are no safe battles..

Yeah buggy I like using my formula for night time
But I have used it through out the day at times, especially when Im in need for more protein..

The whey isolate is a fast moving protein which digests very quickly, Its great when you need it fast especially after a workout..

Getting back yo your order if there is more than 20% hydrolyzed protein in your mix it will have a little bitter taste, otherwise you should be fine..

If your using your protein powder for night time formula get some flax seed oil and add that to your protein it contains good fish oils that do not contain alot of bad fats..
Success cannot be guaranteed. There are no safe battles..
