TweetWTH. Is going on with Mexico and the illegal imigrants. This crap is about to boil over.

56% of the illegal immigrants in the U.S. are from Mexico according to statistics. That's equilivent to 6.2 million people.

Screw this amnesty crap. A million U.S. citizens couldn't just go down to south Texas hop the fence into Mexico and demand citizenship and all the same rights of an individual born and raised in Mexico.

Five straight days of this is making me sick.. Enough is Enough

TweetIts a double edge sword....get rid of all the immigrants, and see how many contractors, and farmers go broke because they lose all the cheap labor...the ones that dont go broke will raise the prices where everything from milk, steaks, veggies, all the way up to a house will be out of reach for the average citizen...Anyways, here in the southwest, i would guess that 70% of all construction and farm work is by immigrants.
One could argue that overall, the illegals are benefiting the economy. Those benefits i listed could very well outweigh the jobs lost to them. I was all for keeping them out, but then i got thinking......if i had to pay someone with 10 union carpenters to build my house, instead of the guy with 10 illegals making $8 an hour....that house would go from $200,000 to $250,000 easy!!!!

My buddy got rear-ended by an illegal bout'2 months ago and the guy gave him $1900 cash to get it repaired and not call the cops. The illegal was driving a civic and basically went up under my buddy's tahoe.

The difference now is that there are laws governing entrance to this country, the rise in power and conviction of terrorists and a huge strain on the economy.

You got that right bro! They do the jobs we don't want to do and they do it for less. I know here, in CO, they actually get paid pretty damn good in construction. But, they are forced to have SS cards so the GC can claim the expenses.

See, and that's the flip side of the coin right there. They might do the jobs we wont but they cost us more money. My buddy works in auto insurance and the city 45 minutes south of me is very high in latino population. He was telling me that the average auto insurance is much higher there than where I live. By the way, the average automoblie on the road where I live is 15k higher than down there. He said it's because of the high number of no insurance dirvers. Most of which are illegal immigrants.

Solid man I usually see eye to eye with you on things but I f'n hate when people say they do jobs nobody wants. First of all construction jobs pay very well and a lot of people DO want those jobs. I know personally from working in the construction field that those scumbags are driving down wages, meanwhile the cost of living is skyrocketing. I really don't give a flying sheot if joe blow wants to save some money by having pedro build his damn house! If you don't believe in america and americans doing these jobs then get the F out! I shouldn't have to struggle being in the construction industry because some idiot that's illegally in my country will take the job for pennies on the dollar. How would any of you like if some Japanese or something illegally came and starting stealing your jobs? You'd probably be up in arms. But because it's not effecting you personally you can give a flying sheot! How about standing up for the rights of your fellow americans and stop being such self absorbed saps!

I agree that terrorists are a driving force behind the push for enforcing immigration laws that have been around for a while. I just don't agree with how they are mostly focusing on a certain group of people who cross the borders. I mean Cubans can come anytime, all they have to do is touch dry land. I think it should be equal across the board.
