TweetSo about an hour ago i'm messing around trying out some new exercises and such and one of my former pt clients (Amanda) comes in to work out. She is very hypoglycemic. Shes had trouble in the past when exercising, even when taking the necessary precautions beforehand. Today was not a good day for her to exercise...about 15 minutes into her workout she goes pale, starts wabbling and nearly faints...I go help her and get her a snack. she hangs out for about 10 minutes and then says she's ok and resumes her workout. it wasn't a good idea as it ended with he same result. She then runs into the bathroom and i believe she got sick. About 5 minutes later she comes out and does'nt look good at all, still very weak in the legs and a blank stare on her face. She say's i think i'm just gonna go home now. I'm like ok, you be careful and i'll see you tommorow. But, as she's walking out the door i decide not to let her drive home and convince her to let me take her.
We get to her house, i walk her up to the front door and make sure she is ok. So, just my luck, her husband pulls up as i turn away from the door saying goodbye. At first i didn't know who it was (bc he parked in the street, not in the driveway) but it only took a split second for me to figure out who he was. The look on his face was a dead give away lol. He started walking towards me really pissed off like (of course) and i'm like "wait a minute bro, it's not what you think" but i'm sure he didn't hear me and he was sizing me up, ready to fire at will. The closer he got, the more of my explanation he heard and the bigger i became. so i'm thinking "oh crap, if this little guy is gonna try to kick my ass he must have a weapon" (or something) then i guess he heard me say his wife was really sick bc his attitude totally changed... and his body language told me he was'nt coming after me anymore. I then told him what was up and that his wife probably needed him and that its a good thing he showed up...he then thanked me and went inside...
I normally don't get scared in a confrontation but i could only imagine what he was thinking and he had every right to think it. I knew that if i was in his shoes it would have been a beat his ass to a bloody pulp by any means necessary and ask questions later...and honestly, i was a little scared..

Plus, defending yourself is a different mindset than attacking. i usually have to get hurt before the reality of the situation sinks in...and i ahd no idea what this guy was about to do.. he had an entire plummers work truck to pull shit out of....

TweetDamn! I figure something like that would happen when you said you decided to drive her home! It never fails!!! I wonder if his wife had never been sick, would he have bought your story?
TweetYou should have called a cab for her. It is not tastefull to be driving someone elses wife home, imo, although i know you had her best interests in mind. Unless she needs medical attention then call 911.
TweetDUDE...YOU WERE RIGHT TO BE A LITTLE FREAKED. I WOULDNT CARE WHO YOU WERE IF I THOUGHT YOU WERE WITH MY WIFE!! I WOULD F*CK YOU UP, AS I'M SURE YOU WOULD! BEING A BIGGER GUY MIGHT HAVE GOT YOU THE EXTRA 3 SEC'S YOU NEEDED TO GET THE WORD "SICK" OUT, AS I'M SURE THAT WAS THE CASE, AND THAT IS WHAT BRAUGHT THE SITUATION BACK TO REALITY....AFTER THAT, I WOULD HAVE THANKED YOU FOR LOOKING OUT FOR HER! THAT WAS A GOOD THING FOR YOU TO DO BRO!!

TweetWe don't have cabs out in my neck of the woods. Plus, it's not like i didn't know her, i trained her for well over a year and she's been coming to my gym for nearly 3 years...so, it was like a friend taking care of a friend deal...Originally Posted by mick-G

TweetNot saying you did anything wrong, just that you can get into sticky situations driving home women that are married.Originally Posted by NATE
