Weird getpinz.com email that I received this AM

TweetLet me start by saying that I haven't bought anything from getpinz.com in a long, long time. But this morning I got the email below which was sent to the email address that I used when I made my purchase (it was unique to the getpinz.com site). I can't imagine that the DEA would send an email from 'drugdealer@dea.com', the email was sent from storesecured.com rather than anything .gov, FDA and DEA aren't properly capitalized, there's no contact information, etc. so I'm not exactly convinced that this email is legit.

The bigger issue for me is that someone has apparently gained access to a customer list and has at least some basic information about me. The getpinz.com website isn't there anymore and I'm not exactly sure what's going on here. Anyway, I'm not exactly losing sleep over this but I'm pretty unhappy that my contact info was in a place where someone had access to it & thought I'd share the info.

Just received an identical email. And, upon returning to the site, the logon and password I have used for 2 years was no longer recognized. Once I reregistered, a screen came up with a few links about "contact Us", Privacy Policy", and had "Drug Dealer" above and below the links. I just placed a small order last week. I'm not worried about the legality of buying pinz but am wondering if my credit card info has been comprimised?

TweetI've now received a totaly of three of those emails - all exactly the same. When I go to the getpinz.com website I don't see a store...I get a message that says, "FUTURE HOME OF A DOTSTER-HOSTED WEBSITE"

Same here - no fear of legal action but I do wonder about my credit card info and such.

Yeah, like I said - I don't think that the email was legit and I'm certainly not concerned about any legal action. I agree that the site was probably hacked & I AM upset that my personal information and/or credit card may have fallen into the hands of the person(s) responsible for the hack.
