I HAVE IT BUT NO SURGERY YET' I'M GOING TO WAIT UNTIL I CAN'T CLOSE MY HAND AT ALL OR GRIP ANYTHING, MY DAD HAD IT DONE ON BOTH HANDS 8 WEEKS APART, NOT BAD HE SAID HE WAS AWAKE THE WHOLE TIME AND INITIAL RECOVERY ISN'T BAD BUT YOU WOULDN'T BE GRABBING ANYTHING FOR A CPL WEEKS, 1-1/2 MONTHS AFTER THE SURGERY HIM AND I PUT A NEW ROOF ON HIS FRONT PORCH ABOUT 2 SQ. yea bro my mom had the surgery done about 10 years ago and my roomies mom just had it done and it is worth it for sure she said it never really hurt after the did it and is 100% betterComment

Just kidding. My dad had both his done with overall good results. My mother-in-law had both of her's done with bad results - screw up by the doc. which led to very slow and lengthy recovery.
You should check for alternatives before committing to surgery. A guy I worked with was having extreme trouble with his hands and grip strength. He thought he had C.T. He had more extensive testing done and found out he had a broken neck. He had fallen a few years ago and jarred his head pretty good. Turns out he cracked some shit in his neck which messed up his nerves in many other areas.
So double check before going under the knife.

I get sometimes, but it goes away and then just comes back all of the sudden. I cant do curls and bench at all when I have it. Havent been treated, just a self diagnosis from researching carpel tunnel.Comment
