Question for you chemists

I put my converted syno in the oven at 200 degrees for supposedly 20 minutes to get rid of some recrystallization. Well......guess who forgot about it being in there for 24 hours??
Anyone know if it's still useable after being in that long? Does anyone know for sure whether there was a chemical breakdown or something bad like that?..............and please no guesstimations!

TweetWhat does it look like? Is it still a white crystaline powder? If so, it is probably mostly OK. 200 deg F is only 93 deg C which isn't really all that hot IMO. I wouldn't be surprised at a little degradation due to air oxidation however. If it has changed to a great degree, it will look different (yellow and/or gooey). It might be a good idea to recrystallize it from methanol to make sure it's nice and pure.

Tweetheat breaks/denatures proteins (steroids, Hormones) and they usually do not reanneal (come back together). At the length of exposure, it will be highly unlikely that it will reanneal. Sorry bro.
