TweetONLY 5???? SOUNDS GOOD!! BUT ID NEED TONS MORE!!
O2
TweetLet's post some healthy recipes to try.
I'll start with a snack one that I love. I'm always looking for a snack for in between meals..
it only makes about 5 cookies...
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cinnamon or more to taste
1 scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder (this will sweeten it)
I throw in a small handful of coconut (adds flavor and a little more sweetness).... you can add nuts, too
Lowfat milk until its wet and cookie batter consistency....(usually a few table spoons full)
spoon on a greased cookie sheet (PAM spray or the equivilent)
cook for about 6-7 min at 350
My son even likes them... I have added choc chips and I know they have those "fake" ones at the health food store that aren't too bad...I'd rather have the real thing, though.. I also notice if you use coconut, the more you add, the rubbier the cookies are. But they still taste good!
Let me know if you try it and like them.
