prednisone..question

Tweetmy friend been on a steroid called prednisone for 6 months and that is not for building muscles, he is a sick and he wants to hop on a cycle...
is he gonna be ok, or he needs to take time off from prednisone and than hop back on..

TweetWhat exactly was he taking it for Mikey? Prednisone can have a number of side effects, as it is a cortsterone. It can effect the immune system, so it would be best for him to ask his dr. possibly without mentioning steroids. Also is he still on it? If his immune system is down, i personally would wait till his energy levels are back to normal and he gets into a regular routine of exercise.
