TweetOh, now I'm pissed. I don't mind paying more for gas because I know there is nothing I can do about it. However, yesterday I get gas and I notice it was $40. I thought, damn, it's never been that high before. So I look at the receipt and it reads "14.832 gallons". I thought, "wait a phukin minute" and i grab my owners manual. Sure enough, my gas tank only holds 14.5 gallons. AND, I wasn't even on empty yet.

So I walk in the store pretty pissed off and I tell the clerk and she gets the manager. The manager, in her condisending tone, says "the pumps are certified by the state every month".

I say, "mam, it's physically impossible to put 14.8 gallons in a 14.5 gallon tank, especially when I wasn't even on empty".

This ***** says, "well, the pumps are certified so I can't help you".

I said, "You going to wish you did".

One of my bros is a producer at the largest local TV station and is doing an investigation and he has contacted the states Weights and Measures department to do a full audit on the station. Not to mention he is going to rip them a new one during his investigation. He has already contacted the manufacturer of my car and they told him absolutely now way could my tank hold that much gas because every part of the cars is made exactly the same.

Mother @!$%!% theives! I can't wait til this shit hits the news. Everybody in town is going to start reading their receipts very closly. Oh, and if false play is discovered I believe it's a federal offense.

TweetI always wondered that, cause i bet there are alot of stations doing that. I go to a station that doesn't have the total gallons bought, so the only way i can check is to fill 1 gallon and see if it matches the price they are charging. Alot of times it seems the amount they are charging doesn't coincide with amout of gas. I will def keep my eye on it from now on, especially with the prices being higher.

TweetI just got off the phone with a reporter from the station and he is going to start his investigation. He wants me to meet him later today to get copies of my receipt and owners manual to show the discrepency. Then he said he'll take my story and go from there. I hope I'm not going to be on TV, I think they just want the evidence to run the story. He also told me that he has another story of a guy who has a 19.75 gallon tank (max) that got 20.5 gallons of gas at another station in town.

I can't wait! I think I'll wear my FG shirt if I have to go on TV. LOL!
