TweetSame with T....I've always had strong legs. I box squat all the time. 315lbs I can rep for 12 with no problems. Never really maxed out lately but I still can squat 405lbs for 5.

TweetHey, by the way, it wasn't always like that. There was a time when I was using 135 for 10 reps. And over the years I've tried to add so much every week or month depending on my goals for that time of year. In the winter I make my best gains because I eat like a horse knowing nobody will see me with my shirt off. But let's say you add 10 pounds a month, which is very modest for legs, and you maintain that for one year. You will be doing 320 for 10 reps in a year. It's all about intensity. You go to the gym on your next leg day and you say "I'm going up 5 pounds today". You think about how easy it's going to be and when you get there you just do it. Then the next week you go up 5 more. You just put it on and don't think twice. Now, some weeks you wont get the full 10 reps. No prob, cause you know you will next week. Now your pissed you missed it and next week you hit 11 reps. Intensity and goal setting will get you very very far in this.
