precisely. the plain fact is that steroids making people's lives better isn't interesting news. it's much more interesting to hear stories of exploding hearts, zit covered teenagers anally raping pit bulls, and cheating role models in professional sports than some guy with no health problems who uses AAS successfully and responsibly.

along the lines of what dave150 said, mainstream media and "the news" makes practice of publicizing the negative, as this is what the public wants. drama sells bros.

this small report will be overlooked, just as the opinions of the FDA and DEA were overlooked in 1990 when the AS Control Act was introduced.

TweetSteroids were made illegal to promote fair play in sports....i wrote a very detailed paper on this a about 3 years ago for my class where the professor wanted to know if we could change one law which one would it be and why.......he didnt want the usual abortion,weed and other obvious ones so I chose steroids and when I starting really looking into it, it blew my mind how ridiculous it was.....you are more likely to have health problems from plastic surgery then aas use if done responsibly. All this law does is force people to get them on the black market and take a risk of getting something that isnt what it is supposed to be which can fuck your health up. I dont see anybody *****ing about women getting fake tits, lips etc and they shouldnt be, its their body just like this is our body. I dont recall anybody robbing a gas station or anything for steroid money.

but, as is the case with the "war" on recreational drugs, it is a miserable failure at best. as long as the demand is there, people are going to use no matter how much legislation they pass... even in countries where the penalties of drug trafficking are death people still engage in the practice. look at dennis james.

i agree with everything you said there EQ, simple logic would dictate that educated, responsible AAS use is far less dangerous than many legal practices.

i believe that AAS were made illegal to please ill-informed constituencies and special interest groups so that those in power could remain there.
