It's funny, theres always debate how to do abs and of course how often you do them.. All I have to say after doing heavy ABs 2x a week 2 sets for 8-10 reps to failure with a DB on my chest they are starting to change... and they are definately helping out my core lefts (deads, squats, etc)

Definately better than doing 3000 reps w/ no weight every other day, imo...

do you use a dumbell or a plate and what weight? I use a 45lb plate and do heavy rope crunches and thats about it, 3-4 sets 2x week though.

DBs. I do them on the ball and on the decline bench. Plates would probably feel better but ive been using 60-80 lb DBs so itd be rough to put the plates on.... try hanging leg raises w/ a DB inbetween your feet.. damn! shits tough!

the 45 isnt really enough weight anymore so im gonna try the dbs for some reason ive never tried it with them. Ive seen alot of guys do the leg raises with dbs but i might have to give those a try. Heavy ass rope crunches really burn too.
