Anyone hear about this yet on the news??

Tweet2 kids 12 & 13 were shooting bottle rockets at cars in Washington (State, not the capitol) and two cars stopped because they got hit. The men chased the two kids and one of the kids ran out into traffic and was killed. The other kid got his ass beat. Now the two men are in jail for this!

That's american justice at it's finest! Like I've always said it's always all about the poor kids. I hate how stupid our country is. They always side with the kid, or say the kid didn't know any better. I don't know about any of you but when I was 10 I knew exactly what was right or wrong and these kids are 12 & 13! It's always these stupid right wing self rightous parents that always say it's not my kid that did that. Yeah it's always that kid that does wrong!

These poor guys are in jail now and have to have their lifes severly disrupted because the parents weren't keeping tabs on their kids. It's bullshit and the punk that survived should go to juvenile hall and the parents should have to pay for the undue mental anguish these guys had to go through since they were the real victims!

What now were supposed to feel bad for the kids??? I have one word for that which most of you french canadians will understand "SABON!"

My prayers go out to the poor victims who are unjustly imprisoned for this!

I a kid can get scared VERY easliy by an angry adult, especially if the adult is yelling things like "I'm gonna kick your ass" etc, and the poor kid that got hit by the car must have been afraid for his life to run into traffic. However, I don't think they should get in trouble for the kid running into traffic. Really depends on the situation I guess. Depends on wether the kid ran into traffic cause he saw his buddy getting his ass kicked and was worried for his safety. Or wether the kid ran into traffic because the kid didn't want to get "caught" and punished properly (ie police).

TweetFirst of all bottle rockets are not harmless! These morons are shooting explosives at moving vehicles. If they scare someone while they are driving that would most likely cause an accident at the least, and possibly a multi car pile up. How would you feel if your wife or parents were driving and some punk shot a bottle rocket at their car, they react and go out of control and die. Doesn't sound so small now does it? Have you ever seen the movie The Butterfly Effect? If so remember the part with the mailbox? Seems harmless to put an M80 in a mailbox when your a kid right? Wrong that was a perfect example of how a simple prank can kill someone or seriously disfigure them.

No I don't think the kid should have died but it's his own stupid fault. The other kid did deserve an ass beating. I don't feel bad for the kid getting beat up at all. He knew he was doing wrong. What were the victims supposed to do ask them their information to report to their parents and the police? Give me a break the kids were running because they didn't want to except responsibility for their actions. I don't know any kid that would stop and offer his information. So what were these guys supposed to do if their car was damaged just have their insurance pay for it? Most peoples policies have atleast a $500 deductible so the damage probably wouldn't have been covered. Even if it was then your premium increases because some punk decided it would be fun to shoot explosives at cars. The finger should be pointed at the kids and the parents not the two guys that were victims!

As for my right wing comment most right wing families I know are VERY conservative and wouldn't believe their kids could possibly do wrong. They are the ones that are quick to say things offend them, or that they are the victim. But when it's time to accept responsibility for things they are quick to point the finger elsewhere. Most of the left usually would believe their kid would do wrong and would punish them accordingly. This is my understanding from personal experience with family and friends.

I would say that the adults who beat the shit out of a kid for shooting a bottle rocket at a car were never chased into traffic as kids by other adults. Otherwiswe, they would have known better. Obviously there is a problem there. If we killed more kids for being kids maybe less kids would act stupid. It could be a national initiative, kill any child you see acting... i dunno, childish. There is alot we can learn from these brave guys injustly imprisoned...

look at it this way. a guy minding his business is driving along a bottle rocket goes into his open window exploding in his face causing him to loose control and hit another car head on with your family in it.

i am so sorry this kid was killed but he would be happy and healthy today if he wasnt engaging in illegal activities that could have dire consequences for innocent people.

i hope the guys are smart enough to get a good lawyer and say they were trying to make a citizens arrest or somthing to get them off.
