TweetUmm, in case you didn't know Afganistan has hundreds and hundreds of thousdands of acres of mountian terrain. Do you really think it would be that easy to find one person in all that acreage? I live in Colorado and hikers get lost all the time in the mountains and they will even have them narrowed down to a small area and still cant find them. If they cant find people who are trying to be found in a small area, how in the hell do you expect them to find a guy who doesn't want to be found in a much larger area?
It takes time. Also, don't forget, we didn't just find Sadam, his position was given away by Iraqis. If not for their tips we might still be looking for him.
Better yet, you remember that Roudolph guy who eluded the state police and FBI in the North Carolina mountains? They had a very good idea where he was but because of his knowledge of the area he was able to elude them. And that was on our on soil where we could use as many of the resources we needed.
Of course Bin Laden is real, have you not ever seen any of his tapes which are released to Al Jazeer (sp)? They didn't get those from us.
