My friend and I are about to start on the DC protocol this next Monday. We are doing to mon wed fri split and I was wondering if anyone knew anything that would help out. The questions I have are where do you hold a static hold with each exercise, and when you do rest pause, it is just normal full reps, no stoping, to failure, then you take your 15 breathes then do it again, etc., or do you pause each rep?

Slow controlled negatives for each reap, do you 8-10 reps or whatever til fail, then the 10 second rest, then as many more as you can , then 10s rest, then more. That counts as 1 RP set. Where you hold your statics is actually more of a question of "if" you are going to. If you were going to it would be at the end of your RP or straight set. You will probaby find that a RP set will wreck you enough, theres really no need to do statics all the time, I just throw one in here or there to finish the muscle off before going to the stretching.

ALl the info you could want on the DC protocol is over at https://intensemuscle.com/ in the DoggPound forum (you may have known that already)
